As soon as I saw Mel's comment on her website that she was "not a Bendy-Wendy", I knew this was the class for me. This is yoga for the real world - a small group of women of all shapes, sizes and ages getting together to practice an interesting pick'n'mix of styles and enjoy more laughs than is normal for this type of exercise! Mel's classes may not be particularly spiritual but they are definitely good for the soul. Shirley R
I like Mel's classes because the numbers are small for each class ensuring good tuition and...the sense of humour that prevails. Jean T
I enjoy Mel's yoga classes because the class size is small and she makes sure that everyone has understood what they are doing, how and why. She encourages us to do what we can, within our own limitations, and not to compete with ourselves or anyone else. It's all about the benefits of dedicating an hour in the day to your mind and body, increasing your strength and flexibility, and having a bit of a giggle along the way :). Emma x
Attending one of Mel’s classes is like meeting up with a lovely group of friends. Relaxing, inspiring and fun. Maria S.
Such a warm, welcoming haven, where you are free to be you. There is no pressure, just the freedom to work with your own ability and goals. Sally

I just wanted to thank you for having me in your classes and teaching me so much. Yoga in particular has really made a positive impact on my life to the point where I enjoy practising regularly at home and have encouraged others to do the same. So thank you Mel..... thank you for your patience, your kindness, your positivity and your craziness. You have made every class fun and welcoming, where each lady can go at their own pace without pressure and expectation. In turn, this has given me the confidence to practice and improve in my own time- a sign of a great teacher. Amy G.
"I have been attending Mel's classes for a few years now, after a friend recommended me to her, I feel comfortable in the small group & confident that Mel ensures I am safe with my yoga/pilates movements. I like the fact that Mel will modify postures so I don't put undue strain on certain joints. Mel's classes are fun & varied, brilliant for body & soul." Sarah. x
I feel as an individual that we are singing from the same hymn sheet, I love the sessions, I feel I don't have to prove anything to anyone, and I feel I can do the stretches with your guidance to within my limits.
After spending nearly 15 years playing rugby and with my gardening business I need to look after my body now and almost preserve it into my older age now I'm just a few months away from being half a century ( we won't mention the number). Your sessions really do me some good, it keeps me flexible, relaxed and on a Wednesday night when I go to bed I don't wake till my alarm goes off so that's got to be a good thing! Well done Mel, keep up the good work, you do a great job! See you on the mat!x Dawn R. Mels classes are amazing. Friendly intimate classes and Mel is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Fantastic for beginners or experienced people or those who have confidence issues. Mel will put you at ease straight away. Mels quirky sense of humour and kind nature are also things that make her classes so special x Ali
I recently joined one of Mel’s yoga groups and I love it! Small, friendly, chatty and relaxed - you can go at your own pace and I always leaving calm and well-stretched! Would highly recommend. Catherine
