Hello beYOUtiful souls! My name is Mel and I am the creator of - Just Mel xo - an individualised approach to movement for wellbeing. No, I am neither a former gymnast, nor dancer, not graceful, no Bendy Wendy, and was never sporty in school which is now mmmaaannnyyy moons ago.
I practise a gentle style of movement that is inspired by different systems, but I am NOT traditional nor classical in my approach. I simply fuse, blend & colour outside the lines … creating gentle exercise classes for the rest of us.
My practice helps me to improve my balance, strength and mobility, while at the same time calms my mind. I prefer gentle movement these days that can be tailored to so many different needs and requirements at any age. The fusion came about due to accumulating of repetitive strain injuries over the years. Fusing has opened me up to see the value of different systems in order to keep my body moving and pain free (less pain).
The classes are ideal for ladies that want to focus on gentle movement and relaxation, have a bit of chat and giggle. It is simply a different approach to nurturing body, mind and spirit.
